Subaru Robin Power Products have been sold worldwide for over forty years. Subaru Robin Power Products are manufactured in North America and Japan by Fuji Heavy Industries.

The engines were previously marketed in North America under the Wisconsin Robin brand through an agreement with Teledyne Total Power. Robin products have now adopted the Subaru name to better identify the technology heritage of our Subaru Automotive sister company.

Parent company to Subaru Robin Power Products, Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), is a multi-billion dollar corporation with four main divisions: Automobile, Aerospace, Eco Technologies and Industrial Products. These divisions share technologies within their product lines. In the Automotive division, Fuji manufacturers cars under the brand name Subaru. Technological advances from this division are the All Wheel Drive system and the horizontally opposed engine. Light airplanes, training planes, helicopters, and parts for large airplanes are manufactured in the Aerospace division. Wing sections for the Boeing 777 are produced here, as well as components for spacecraft. The Eco Technologies division produces Recycling equipment and Alternative Energy systems. The Industrial Products division of FHI manufactures Subaru Robin Power Products.

In 1993 Robin America, Inc. was formed by Fuji Heavy Industries to market Subaru Robin Power Products directly in North America. This new venture allowed for greater product support and improved distribution of product, parts, and service in the USA and Canada. Since it’s inception, Robin America has introduced the third generation of premium OHV engines and well as launched the introduction of the first OHC Chain Driven (Overhead Cam) engine in the United States. Robin America has also been responsible for the debut of the Subaru Inverter Generators as well as the RGX Series of conventional units.

Subaru Robin produces engines and equipment for use in industrial, construction, agricultural and recreation markets. Over 1 Million Subaru Robin engines will be produced this year, making them the fourth largest engine producer in the World. Subaru Robin’s full line of conventional generators from 1.1 Kw thru 13 Kw fit the everyday demands of the construction worker or the homeowner. The Silent Series Inverter generators are rugged, quiet and provide new inverter technology for clean, safe power.
